Blessings for Chapter Nine

My first blessing is for the unnamed judge or judges who gave the Little Old Man his (or you might consider them to be his Cats') prize-cards after throwing him out of the show.
Perhaps after all, thry said, he gad not known he was showing a witch's cat which is actually the truth. He is horrible in all sorts of ways but he didn't know that Gobbolino was a Witch's cat and he wasn't intentionally breaking the rules (not that it wpuld he a bad thing to deliberately break unfair rules). And all of his other cats won within the rules of the show and deserve to have their achievements recognised. So a blessing for everyone who tries to be fair, even in difficult situations and to difficult people. May they be treated with fairness and compassion themselves and may they be supported in doing the right thing.

My other blessing is for all of the Show Cats and for anyone who is judged only on their appearance and who is not appreciated in their full complexity and wholeness. May they be seen in all their multifaceted glory and may they be able to develop all aspects of their personality and lives.
